Summer Associate Program
Our summer associate program is designed to give law students after their first or second year a true feel for what it would be like to work at the firm as an associate and a true sense of who we are and how we work. We hire between four and eight summer associates each year. During the past few years we have had summer associates join us from Duke, Georgetown, Harvard, Virginia, and Yale.
During their time at the firm, summer associates receive substantive assignments and work closely with partners and associates on important matters. Recent summer associates have drafted portions of briefs filed in the District of Columbia Court of Appeals and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, helped prepare a complaint challenging the treatment of prisoners detained at Guantanamo Bay Naval Station, assisted with identifying and preparing expert witnesses, and drafted a petition for writ of certiorari which was filed in the U.S. Supreme Court, among other assignments. Our summer associates are also involved in the formal and informal social life of the firm, from the firm picnic to baseball games and summer concerts.
Please submit your resume for a summer associate position at Baach Robinson & Lewis PLLC to our Practice Management Coordinator, Norma Foti.
