Tammy L. Lewis, Special Counsel in London

Tammy Lewis practices in the area of insurance and reinsurance, with particular expertise in the London insurance and reinsurance market.  Immediately prior to joining Baach Robinson & Lewis in London, Ms. Lewis was in-house counsel for a Lloyd’s managing agency and prior to that, for a London market company.  She has provided legal advice and support for insurer clients on a diverse book of direct and reinsurance business involving property, specialty and casualty business.  She has experience in analyzing and resolving cross-border issues and international disputes.  Ms. Lewis also has litigation experience during her tenure with a West Coast law firm representing London market clients and domestic insurers, including a successful trial involving a complex coverage dispute in Portland, Oregon.  She has served as defense counsel for insureds in a variety of commercial disputes.  Ms. Lewis also has prepared and argued appeals in both state and federal court.
