Mr. Davenport is a seasoned trial attorney who has tried complex civil and commercial lawsuits in more than twenty different states throughout the country as well as in international arbitration proceedings abroad.  With particular expertise in scientific and technical litigation, he has served as lead trial counsel in disputes involving pharmaceutical, medical, and industrial products liability, engineering and construction incidents, environmental insurance coverage, medical, and legal malpractice, securities and other commercial frauds, real estate, and personal injury.

Mr. Davenport has developed and draws on technical aptitude in a wide spectrum of disciplines including medicine and pharmacology, electrical-mechanical, chemical, and hydro-geological engineering, epidemiology, and biostatistics. His special interest has long been the examination and cross-examination of expert witnesses.

In addition to his courtroom skills, Mr. Davenport is recognized as an accomplished brief writer, and he regularly assists other lawyers in the firm in crafting their written submissions both in courts and arbitration tribunals.
