Walter J. Buzzetta, Associate

Walter Buzzetta practices in the areas of insurance, litigation, reinsurance, and investigations and white collar defense. 

Mr. Buzzetta represents institutions in insurance coverage actions in both court and arbitration.  Most recently he has been involved in a number of large-scale reinsurance disputes arising out of asbestos and small-employer health insurance claims.

At Duke University School of Law, Mr. Buzzetta was a member of the Moot Court Board and served as a student director for the Duke Innocence Project. Both the North Carolina State Bar and Duke faculty recognized him for his work investigating the claims of inmates who claimed that they were wrongfully convicted.  Mr. Buzzetta today donates his time pro bono to represent these individuals.
