Mr. Baach has represented the London Insurance Market for over twenty-five years, achieving successful results through negotiation and, where necessary, litigation of some of the Market’s most contentious and high-stakes disputes. He also provides London Market Insurers with strategic counseling and advice to develop systemic solutions to complex and vexing problems such as the asbestos litigation crisis. As part of his work on the asbestos issue, Mr. Baach assembled, organized, and directed a team of nationally recognized government affairs experts in successful state and federal legislative efforts.
With deep experience in ADR, Mr. Baach has participated in dozens of mediations and multi-party negotiations achieving successful resolutions to difficult disputes. A skilled draftsman, his work product is used as a model for high stakes settlements.
