In his long career, Mr. Wald has advised national and international businesses, not-for-profit organizations, and individuals on matters involving antitrust, trade regulation, mergers and acquisitions, civil rights and international human rights, and law firm organization.  He has authored legal articles, spoken before professional groups, and headed committees and subcommittees of the American Bar Association, the District of Columbia Bar, and the Federal Bar Association. 

Mr. Wald was a founder and senior partner of Wald Harkrader & Ross (and predecessor firm Wald Harkrader and Rockefeller) and of Nussbaum & Wald.  He has served on the boards of a number of NGOs.  He was a founder and Co-Chairman of the Washington Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs, where he remains a Trustee.  He was the first chair and a board member of the Romanian American Enterprise Fund established under the Support for Eastern European Democracy Act of 1989.
