Mr. Glassman is an experienced civil, commercial, and appellate litigator specializing in cross-border securities, corporate, and banking-related litigation, commercial disputes, and financial fraud. He also has counseled clients within government agencies, corporations, and international organizations in internal investigations and has extensive experience in administrative law.  Mr. Glassman is experienced in matters of banking regulation and compliance and advises clients in matters concerning U.S. trade sanctions.

Mr. Glassman's litigation and management of cross-border disputes typically involves clients and counsel in multiple jurisdictions and active or contemplated litigation in multiple fora.  Recent cross-border matters in which he has been involved have included complex Channel Islands litigation concerning a hedge fund, U.S. proceedings in aid of an English bankruptcy involving a prominent English solicitor jailed for misappropriating client funds, a securities action on behalf of a large U.K. pension trust, investor disputes with a group of brokerage firms in the U.S., U.K., and South America, and a contracting dispute between a Scottish engineering firm and a U.S. defense contractor.

Prior to joining Baach Robinson & Lewis, Mr. Glassman spent five years with the United States Department of Justice, serving as Counsel to the Deputy Attorney General, Special Assistant to the General Counsel of the Immigration and Naturalization Service, and a litigating attorney with the Civil Division's Office of Immigration Litigation.  As Counsel to the Deputy Attorney General, Mr. Glassman advised the Attorney General and the Deputy Attorney General in some of the Justice Department’s most complex and sensitive matters, including the Elián González matter, terrorism and national security cases, and the Department’s policies concerning immigration and naturalization, classified evidence, asylum, and detention.  During his service in the Civil Division, he represented the United States before federal district courts and courts of appeals throughout the country on issues of constitutional, statutory, and regulatory law.
